14 Electrical Testing Technology of Lunar Lander
(a) The extensive application of modular, synthetic and virtual instrument gradually replaces the test system composed of traditional desktop instruments [3].
In particular, with application of new data bus technologies such as LXI and
PXI, flexible and reusable test equipment has been developed by combination
of modular hardware platform and a great many test application, which makes
the test system miniaturized, versatile, and highly automated.
(b) Standardized, portable, repeatable test languages make the development of
Test Program Set (TPS) more efficient and accurate. The test language can
describe the test process and express the external function of the test equipment,
while it does not involve internal hard driver and does not depend on specific
equipment model. Application of standardized test language in test program
can be transplanted between different test systems, so as to speed up the test
development and promote unify of test methods [4].
(c) The development of test standard provide foundation for modular recombination of test equipment and popularization of test language application,
including the Interchangeable Virtual Instrument (IVI) series standard, the
A Broad-Based Environment for Test (ABBET) standard, Automatic Test
Markup Language (ATML) standard and the Automatic Test System (ATS)
of the relevant international standards.
Along with development of space technology in China, especially deep space exploration technology, spacecraft electrical test technology has made great progress.
The networked test system, with Overall CheckOut Equipment (OCOE) as the core
structure, has been established to implement distributed collection and centralized
management of data [5]. The extensive application of general and standardized instruments improves the integration and generalization level of the test system to be
adapted to the test of data management protocol of CCSDS standard. The development and application of automated test software makes automatic test, automatic
monitoring and automatic interpretation to be possible, and improves ability of test
data analysis and mining, while improving test efficiency and saving labor cost.
14.3 Requirements and Technical Characteristics
14.3.1 Requirements
The core task of the electrical test was to fully test and verify all functions and
specifications of the lunar lander including the follows.
(a) To verify the correctness and compatibility of electrical interface of all
subsystems with structure, configuration and cables.
(b) To verify whether the functions and performance of the lunar lander and all
subsystems meet the design requirements.
(c) To verify the correctness and rationality of flight procedures.
