29.2.1.2 Height Setting Requirement of Guard Sensor
The height setting requirement of guard sensors is different. In Austria, the height
of guard sensors is set from 3 to 5 m above the tank floor [1], and in Britain standard
the height of guard sensors is from 4 to 6 m above the tank floor [6]. In Japan, the
author Shigenori yuyama in his paper [7] suggests the height of guard sensors is
1–3 m above the main sensors.
As shown in Fig. 29.2, it is an experiment on the fixed roof of tank that number
of signals decreased when the tank had guard sensors. According to our research,
