end of the sample, and the coupling agent was vacuum grease and fixed with plastic
tape. The other end of the sample was inserted through a sealed foam plug into a
jar solution to a depth of about 25 mm. The acoustic emission data was collected
while acquiring characteristic parameters and waveforms. During the experiment,
the data acquisition situation and the surface variation of the sample were observed.
The experiment lasted for about 3.8 h, the experimental data collection was stopped,
and the samples were taken for macroscopic observation. The surface solution of the
sample was washed away with water and observed under an optical microscope. The
above test procedure was repeated several times and the test results were basically
the same.
22.3 Results and Discussion
22.3.1 Analysis of AE Activity and Characteristic Parameters
Figure 22.2 is a time history diagram of the cumulative AE signals of the two channels,
reflecting the trend of AE activity during the test. It can be seen from the figure that
