Signal amplitude increases, the main distribution range is 40–48 dB, and the impact
number of acoustic emission signal increases sharply during accelerated stage. Signal
amplitude decreases, the main distribution range is 38–43 dB, the impact number of
acoustic emission signal decreases, but the corrosion continues during stable stage.
Table 15.2 lists the range of characteristic parameters of AE signals of the three
channels in the whole corrosion monitoring process.
