The above EDP values are useful in understanding the differences of environmental
impacts among provinces. However, the conversion of tropical peat land is not considered in the assessment. Thus, this subsection introduces the share of peat land in
each province into the assessment. CO 2 emissions from land transformation are
used as the criteria.
