on? Your various teachers will probably pronounce
some common words quite differently. Try to use the
most commonly accepted pronunciations, and don’t
worry when a conversation with someone involves
differences in pronunciation. As long as there is
mutual understanding, it’s not really important how
we say it. By and large, chemists are a very tolerant
group of people.
