low cost (cost effective), in situ and can be engaged at the infected site without
disturbing the site of contamination, easy to implement, no secondary pollution and
no skilled person (expertise person) is required for handing and implementation.
Search of new methods by the scientific community in the past few decades,
nanotechnology has opened the possibility of utilizing in different area due to its
unique properties. Green synthesis (plant mediated synthesis) of nanoparticle has
gained great interest due to its single step process, elimination of harmful reagents for
its synthesis in a cost effective manner. Various investigations have been performed
by the researchers utilizing the silver nanoparticle for effective catalytic degradation of organic dyes, promising results were observed. Hence, in near future, green
synthesized metal nanoparticles can be used as an effective technique in the textile
effluent treatments.
