satellite rainfall data in the IFAS model performed higher reproducibility than satellite rainfall without calibration particularly beginning and peak of hydrograph. The
estimated catchment physical parameters from GIS data are representable. The IFAS
model was also proved that it is more suitable to simulate the flood at bigger river
basins compared to the small catchment. IFAS model can be widely used as a tool
for flood early warning systems in developing countries where the availability and
access to hydrological data is limited.
