values and norms that govern their lives. This local wisdom makes the Bajo able to
survive until now. Wisdom and local knowledge are the result of a very long process
from generation to generation. Discussion of the Bajo tribe adapts to changes in the
environment in meeting their daily needs. In utilizing natural resources, the Bajo
people still apply traditional methods that are environmentally friendly and proven
to be able to meet their subsistence needs. They still appreciate the various directions
from their ancestors. However, the Bajo are not against new things. They adapt to
other resource utilization activities outside of their traditional ways.
Based on some examples of the above cases, it can be seen that the Bajo tribe
adapted to changes in the environment in meeting their daily needs. In utilizing natural
resources, the Bajo people still apply traditional methods that are environmentally
friendly and are proven to be able to meet the needs of their subsystems. However, the
Bajo tribe also turned out not to be anti-new. They adapt to other resource utilization
activities outside of their traditional ways. Therefore, the implementation of appropriate adaptation strategies for the Bajo people in dealing with climate change needs
to be prepared so that people are not vulnerable to the impact of the rate of change
that occurs. All forms of appropriate adaptation strategies in response to climate
change need to be anticipated by all actors, including the government, the private
sector, and the community themselves, especially the Bajo.

Human Rights (HAM) are considered as a right that has been inherited from birth
and is collective in nature. Also a right that is owned because someone is human, but
those rights are very important rights, which are formed to protect human interests
that are morally and fundamentally valid. The concept of human rights is actually a
mechanism for connecting between individuals “participation in rights is participation in relations with others” so that what is expected of this relationship will bring
influence to the pattern of relations and fundamental values as respect for fellow
human beings and peace.
Global climate change has directly affected the microclimate, which has been a
reference for indigenous peoples and coastal communities/Bajo tribes to plan activities in order to fulfill their needs. The real impact of climate change is felt when
they are facing the planting season, harvest season, and the season to go fishing. The
uncertainty of the seasonal calendar due to a time shift has caused crop failures and
fishermen from the coastal/Bajo tribes have to cancel due to extreme weather conditions which could endanger their lives if forced. Another impact that will be caused
by changes in global climate is the increasing frequency of droughts, floods, and the
