Conclusion
Le programme des plateformes de génétique moléculaire offre une équité
d’accès aux tests moléculaires innovants à tous les patients du territoire. En cela,
c’est une organisation unique au plan international. Il démontre que la stratification moléculaire en vue de la décision thérapeutique peut être intégrée avec succès
dans le système de soins et que cette stratégie s’avère par ailleurs coût-efficace.
Un nombre élevé de thérapies ciblées sont encore en cours de développement et
sont accessibles seulement par les essais cliniques. En permettant un screening à
large échelle, le programme des plateformes de génétique moléculaire constitue
également un outil de choix pour faciliter la conduite d’essais cliniques en
France, en particulier pour des molécules ciblant des altérations moléculaire
rares. Il permet ainsi à la fois d’accélérer le développement de thérapies ciblées
et d’en permettre un accès précoce sur le territoire.
