After 10 min, but before 12 min, the color of the mixed sample was photometrically
measured at 690 nm in spectrophotometer and the absorbance reading was compared
with a calibration curve to get the value of phosphorus concentration. The calibration
curve used for the determination of total phosphorus is shown in Fig. 3.8.
