10.5.3 Assistive Device Control Experiment
The participant tried to control the upper limb assistive device ten times,
shown in Figure 10.9. Upper limb movement was recorded twenty-four times
during this period; however, seven times (out of twenty-four), upper limb
movement corresponding to the participant’s intention was recorded 5 s
before or after the switch was pressed.
