5 X-ray Pulsar-Based Navigation: Theories and Experiments
profile modulating, pulsar’s X-ray signal generating, analog signal source calibrating, X-ray photon detecting, photon arrival-time measuring and processing,
as well as remote data operating.
(4) The evaluation demonstration segment is the display window of the tested
results, which is the display terminals of performance verification, data interpretation, anomaly diagnosis and orbit tracking demonstration in the ground
test system, with the functions of navigation demonstrating, test evaluating,
two-dimensional turntable tracking, result replaying and report printing.
5.7.3 Design of Overall Layout
According to the composition of the ground test system and the division of the four
function segments, the overall layout design of the system is shown in Fig. 5.16,
from which it can be seen that:
(1) The central control segment is composed of one network control computer,
one data management computer and one workgroup switch, among which
the network control computer is responsible for the software and hardware
interface controlling, network operation status monitoring, system operational instruction sending, simulation parameter setting, test task planning and
scheduling, and network timing; the data management computer is responsible
