Pendry et al. in their seminal paper in the year 2006 [136]. A schematic illustration of
transformation-optics-based electromagnetic cloaking is shown in Fig. 3.7, in which
distortion of the path of light rays has been depicted. The object and the cloak both
have cylindrical symmetry and have radii a and b, respectively.
