there are shorter courses for them to complete their training, especially in
astronomy. These are awarded the title of Starlight Monitor.
To get an idea of what has been done about training, the following figures
for people with Starlight training are for the year 2018: 49 guides, 96 astronomical monitors, 18 auditors, 16 school teachers, and 30 journalists.
Particularly noteworthy is the huge impact of what the Starlight Foundation
has been doing on the Spanish news media. In 2017 alone the Foundation
appeared 350 times on television and in print.
Readers who wish to know more about the Foundation and its many activities in tourist destinations, reserves, and other associations will find further

with the notable results that are being obtained, is being achieved on a shoestring budget. It needs to be pointed out that the Starlight Foundation has
from its creation been operating in a condition of crippling privation that is
