The IAC team took charge of providing the system controlling the digital
processing of the data, the Radiometer Electronics Box Assembly (REBA),
and the on-board software, as well as actively contributing to the design of the
instrument’s receivers.
It is pleasing to see how space research and technology have flourished and
grown in our country. There are research centres and firms, scattered throughout our geography, taking part with recognized efficiency and reputation in an
endless number of space projects and devices from various countries. Today
we have a foot in the door of all the missions of ESA and in others of NASA,
Roscosmos, JAXA, and the Chinese Space Agency. Examples of IAC participations include the scientific exploitation of the Herschel and Planck satellites;
the search for dark matter with BOSS (SDSS-III) and e-BOSS (SDSS-IV);
