8.2.4 Evaluation
The two steps of the proposed approach result in an automatic method for generating
droplet sequences. In order to evaluate the approach, the architectures as obtained in
the evaluation of Sect. 7.5.2 have been used. Afterwards, a respective specification
has been determined using the automatic dimensioning method proposed in Chap. 4
and the settings as specified in Table 6.1 (details how these methods are integrated
are provided in Chap. 9). Next, the discrete models for these microfluidic networks
have been determined using a “real time” of 1/2500s for one time step. Furthermore,
a minimum distance between droplets of T = 30 has been applied.
