Solution 3.1 – Influence of geometric factor
1. The curve for the resistance R 1 as a function of the geometric factor is shown
in figure 54 from the data in table 33.

We find a linear variation in resistance.
2. The equation for the line in figure 54 is

we conclude that R 1 , which was obtained at high frequency, is representative
of the ohmic resistance of the solid solution. It is a bulk property.
