Error correction
In case of an error, you can always undo the most recent actions. Choose “Edit” ->
“Undo” to undo the last unwanted action you performed. If later you decide that you
do not want to cancel a certain action, select “Edit” -> “Redo”. Please note that you
cannot undo all actions. The Undo and Redo operations can also be found on the
standard toolbar.
Undo and Redo buttons on the standard toolbar.
Set the number of undo levels
The maximum number of consecutive actions that you can undo is 100 by default.
You can change this number to any number from 0 to 999. Open the “Options” dialog
box by selecting “Tools” -> “Options”. This setting is available in Model Center
General and is automatically saved when you close the dialog box and is restored
the next time you run Model Center.
At the end of this section, it is worth saying that if you still have any questions,
you can always use the prompts.
Tooltips
Tips are small rectangles with auxiliary messages that appear when you hold the
cursor over an element of interest, or, for example, a button on the toolbar, or a
connection (connector) in the Diagram View viewing mode, as shown in Fig. 2.9.
In some modes, such as the Diagram View viewing mode, tooltips can be disabled.
To enable or disable tooltips for a specific view, open the “Options” dialog box by
selecting “Tools” -> “Options”. Tooltip settings are located in Model Center ->
General and are automatically saved when the dialog box is closed and restored the
next time you run Model Center.
In most dialog boxes, you can get a hint to any item in the dialog box, by clicking
the question icon in the title bar, then clicking the item or right-clicking the area or
item, and choosing “What’s This?” from the pop-up menu.
You will learn more about creating a model using ready-made or created classes
in Sect. 2.4.
