Based on the decision matrix net outranking flow values were calculated using
Visual PROMETHEE and the results were illustrated in Fig. 19.2. The visual
PROMOTHEE scenario offered a total net flow of outranking ranging from positive to negative. The range from the net flow point to the positive outranking flow
presented the progressive performance of alternatives, where the opposite case, to
the negative outranking flow represented the descending performance. The ranking
of the alternatives calculated were given in Table 19.6.
Table 19.6 identified that the second alternative was in the first place with highest
net flow of 0.0885. This alternative seemed more advantageous (approximately %12)
than the close follower fourth alternative. The third and the first alternatives were
evaluated as the non-feasible treatment alternatives for the paint industry.
