It is not easy to make the farmers aware of the importance of using PGPR. For this
reason, dissemination activities begin to provide training to local farmers, regional
universities and institutes, and local governor. Steps of the training program are as
follows (Fig. 9.8):
1. To boil all ingredients except cornstarch, young coconut water, and eggs;
2. To filtrate;
3. To put the filtrated materials into a fermenter which is equipped with an agitator
and the aeration and fermentation broth cooled;
4. To ferment and cool down; and
5. To add cornmeal, eggs, and young coconut water, and finally, the PGPR inoculant formula.
LOB-Beyonic-StarTmik LIPI is also suitable for a large scale agribusiness by
applying advanced fermentation technology. Under the high standard operating
procedures and the best quality of raw material of fermentation broth, it will create
a high quality of LOB product. The quality of biofertilizer inoculated with BeyonicStarTmik LIPI depends on the nutrition of raw material and fermenter. For
AeroHydro Culture techniques, after fermentation (about 21 days) of the LIPI
Beyonic-StarTmik LIPI in local areas, LOB is sprayed to the compost bug to enrich
PGPR activity. In previous experiments, when PGPR was sprayed to compost, soil
