Preface
This book represents the results that were obtained during my master
internship in the Maulide Group at the University of Vienna. Certainly,
such a work cannot be conducted without the support from several persons,
whom I feel obliged to express my sincere appreciation to at this point.
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Nuno Maulide for giving me the opportunity to work in
his group on this very interesting natural product synthesis.
