With regard to the impact of poor access to WASH facilities on women’s socioeconomic activities, our findings show that during their menstruations and due to
lack of/unsafe toilets:
Though most domains (domestic, administrative, economic, school activities) are
impacted by women inactivity during their menstruation, slowdown is more much
felt in the economic sphere, all the more so because they are involved in the economic
development of their households and community.
