3. Set up a school health advisory committee. To coordinate and monitor all health
promotional efforts in the school including development of health-promoting
school policies, members of the advisory council can include the head of the
school, representatives from parents, teachers and students.
4. Develop a local HPS charter. This agreement will symbolize the city’s
commitment to develop schools as healthy spaces for students.
5. Scale up to regional level. The HPS manual developed by BHC can be introduced
in schools at the regional level.
