analysis should be carried out to demonstrate all the pros and cons of the solutions
being considered in order to meet applicable formal and legal requirements. To
assess the possibility of avoiding the negative impact of discharged waste water on
the environmental objectives of the WFD, the feasibility of implementing alternative
solutions, including economic, energy and environmental considerations, should be
assessed.
The book ends with conclusions and recommendations, which are contained in
Chap. 19.
