while their budget is exceeded. Indicators (CPI, SPI) give a similar picture of the
schedule. Profitability of the cost index (CPI: BCWP/ACWP) at 0.981 informs the
contractor that, for each capital employed in the amount of PLN 1.00 his return is
PLN 0.98 (no surplus, treated as a loss).
Schedule execution indicator at 0.821 (SPI: BCWP/BCWS) illustrates the typical
regression of works in relation to the plan.
3 Delayed Schedule Control Model
The total delay of the schedule diagnosed (7 working days) was spread on all activities which were not commenced (10/15), increasing work efficiency on them. The
procedure of distributing the supply of activities was used, shortening each of them
by one business day—except for the reinforced concrete slab, where the work was
accelerated by two days. Supplying activities with additional working brigades was
calculated by determining the proposed unit work time expenditure, according to the
formula:
N (R) =
X
t · Pr(1, 2, 3) · G(1, 2, 3)
m−h/person/p.u.
(1)
where:
N(R)
unit work time input [number of man-hours/1 employee/production unit],
X
number of planned man-hours to perform the activities [m-h],
t
duration of activities in days, according to the norm [days],
Pr(1,2,3) number of employees servicing the activity on the first, second and third
working shift [person],
G(1,2,3) duration of working shift [m-h].
It is worth noting that, the schedule repair model for the calculation of unit expenditure uses the resultant duration of the activity, and not its cost estimate norm,
adopted in the catalogs of material expenditure (n r ).
Calculation of the required compositions of working teams for the analyzed series
of activities—while maintaining the planned number of shifts and their duration, is
determined depending on:
Pr(1
, 2
, 3
) =
X
t · G(1, 2, 3) · N (R)
(2)
where
Pr(1
,2
,3
)
the required number of employees servicing the activity on the
first, second and third working shift [person] in order to complete
the project on the planned date,
t
required duration of activity in days [days],
