of the analysed set of proceedings.
• an appropriate preparation of the investment project is important for the correct
implementation of the investment when using BIM technology. In the case
of public procurement, the preparation particularly includes the development
of correct tender documentation that involves, among others, the specification
of essential terms of the contract, and also information requirements of the
contracting authority with regards to BIM (the so-called EIR). In the above documentation, the contracting authority should precisely specify the requirements
regarding, among others, the required data exchange format, the expected degree
of detail of the model in its various phases, the goals that are intended to be
achieved using BIM technology during the implementation of the investment,
etc.
