Step 4.12 Green assessment:
The positive impact for environment are as follows: (1) The charger can be invisible and the equipment wear rate is low. (2) A charger can charge a plurality of
electrical motorcycles, and in the case of multiple electrical motorcycles, multiple
chargers can be omitted without occupying multiple power outlets. (3) Renewable
energy replaces fossil fuels to reduce carbon emissions. (4) Compared with the
production mode of samarium-based solar panels, perovskite solar cells can reduce
greenhouse gas emissions.
The negative impact for environment is the farther the distance of wireless
transmission, the greater the loss of useless work.
Step 4.13A Conceptual solution:
After functional evaluation and green assessment, it is determined that the new
design concept has good functionality and the impact on the environmental level is
positive, so the new design concept is taken as an innovative solution.
9.6 Summary
This study integrates different ways including ARIZ-85C (Fey), other TRIZ auxiliary tools, and emerging techonologies database to guide designers to solve their
engineering problem step by step and take advantage of the traits of emerging technologies to develop innovative and eco-friendly designs. During designing products,
designers can think and break through the perspective of emerging technologies, and
provide reference for guiding the design process through case exercises. Electrical
motorcycle in Taiwan is used as example to demonstrate the capability and usefulness
of proposed eco-innovation method.
