Coefficients of typical solar collectors are given in Table 9.3 (Matuska 2017;
Tripanagnostopoulos et al. 2000) for performance comparison, and their efficiencies
are shown in the following figures. These figures show the relationship between
solar irradiance and solar collector efficiency when t 0 ¼ 20
C and t sc ¼ 60

C (Fig. 9.3), and t sc ¼ 90

vacuum single tube with flat absorber shows the maximum efficiency during the
whole solar irradiance period under all temperature conditions and therefore is
chosen to harness solar thermal energy for the KCS-11 to generate electricity.
