the user uses the product in Use stage. The user repairs the product (Repair stage),
disposes it (Dispose stage), sells to the market (Sell and Buy stage), or replace it with
the part of other users (Replace stage) depending on the condition of the part. The
part agent proposes an appropriate judgment to the user by collecting and utilizing
the deterioration information and operation history of the part in each process of the
life cycle.
20.3.2 Implementation of Part Agent System
The network agent (Nagasawa et al. 2017) that is the basis of the part agent system
is a program that autonomously functions in the network. Network agents collect
necessary information and services for the user by flexibly modifying their behavior
according to the situation. The flow of movement of agents is as follows. First,
an agent that receives a request from a user is sent out to the network. Agents
autonomously move to computers in the network for required information and
services. Based on the acquired information and the result of the service, the agent
searches for more information and services, and repeats moving to another computer.
Then, it returns to the user’s computer and reports on the information and services
collected.
