6 Conclusion
Throughout this work, we concluded that glamping is an example of an innovation of
the already existing aspects of the tourism sector. In addition to this, sustainable development is practiced in this tourist product, and its sustainability is measured through
the policies and practices of these establishments, both in their daily processes as
well as in their construction and choice of materials. In general, this new tourist
aspect has renewed traditional camping, and consists of the combination of glamour
with luxury, providing unique experiences to its practitioners. They can enjoy all the
comforts of a stay in a hotel room and at the same time be in contact with nature.
Luxury, comfort, glamour, nature and sustainability are concepts easily associated
with glamping. Its practitioners, the glampers, can easily be characterized as individuals who intend to practice nature tourism without dispensing of the necessary
minimum comforts and services. Like any new product, it has several aspects to
improve since it is still in the development phase. Subsequently, efforts should be
