she employed seven staff after the Nigerian government awarded her a grant.
Idabacha remains a popular feature on the Cable News Network (CNN) and has
more than one million views on her 2015 TED talk. Mitimeth plays a crucial role
in employing women, thus reducing the unemployment rate in the country. More
importantly, it has been critical in empowering women and imparting skills as well
as knowledge to women who previously were idle.

African policymakers will continue emphasizing the urge and opportunities for
green growth: growth that protects the natural environment of Africa in ways
that enhance the welfare of our generations, and which creates new chances for
economic development and transformation. Economic transformation will deliver
green growth. Sustainable urban agriculture will become a focus for various
entrepreneurs.
