Annette Condello (Ph.D. the University of Western Australia), is Senior Lecturer in Architecture
at the School of Design and the Built Environment, Curtin University in Perth, Australia. She was
the School’s former Director Graduate Research and Director International for two years. Annette
was Visiting Professor at DICATAM, the University of Brescia, Italy, and held a Mexican Government Fellowship at UNAM, Mexico City. Recently, Annette participated at the World Urban
Forum (wuf10) in Abu Dhabi. Annette has published The Architecture of Luxury (Routledge,
2014), co-edited a book with S. Lehmann Sustainable Lina: Lina Bo Bardi’s Adaptive Reuse
Projects (Springer Publishers, 2016), and Pier Luigi Nervi and Australia: Outback Modernism
(Black Swan Press, 2017).
