Fig. 2.32 Small, vertical
and energy-saving dry
fermentation equipment
Based on the operation control of dry anaerobic fermentation process, energy
consumption of the process was evaluated from the aspects of biogas production,
unit energy consumption and total energy consumption. In comparison with the
traditional wet anaerobic fermentation equipment with the same biogas production
scale, the unit biogas production of dry anaerobic fermentation was only 22.25%
that of wet anaerobic fermentation. Moreover, unit energy consumption of products
of dry anaerobic fermentation equipment reduces by 0.069 kgce/m
3 and comprehensive energy consumption saves 34.8% compared with wet anaerobic fermentation
equipment.
2.4 Evaluation of Energy Consumption of Anaerobic
Fermentation Process
2.4.1 Energy Consumption of Heat Preservation
of Anaerobic Fermentation Tank
Owing to anaerobic fermentation treatment needs continuous reaction and surface
area of tanks is large, heat loss of anaerobic fermentation tanks cannot be ignored
in reaction. By taking a treatment plant of kitchen wastes through anaerobic fermentation in the surrounding area of Beijing city, China as an example, 20 °C was
