3 Bio-augmented Composting of Organic Wastes in Villages and Towns
2. Rack: The rack was welded with Q235A high-quality box iron and angle iron
and enabled the utilization of the equipment through strict quality control and
specific process requirements.
3. Cutter: The cutter combined activity with inertia, which was good for cutting
and smashing. The tool rest was manufactured of 304 stainless steel, while the
blade was made of wear-resistant 65Mn steel. The tool rest and the blade were
connected by using bolts, which solved the problem of replacement after wear
and failure. When the blade is worn, it is just necessary to adjust corresponding
bolts for replacement and maintenance, instead of replacing the entire cutter,
which could improve work efficiency and save costs. This cutter has obtained
the authorization of a national utility model patent (patent number: ZL 2014 2
0847515.0).
4. Heating system: Based on the principle of electric-heating, the equipment was
heated using high-quality heat transfer oil by transferring the oil to the surrounding of the container through a hot oil pump. The heating system has obtained the
authorization of a national utility model patent with the number of ZL 2014 2
0847513.1.
5. Electrical part: All of the control parts were purchased from internationally wellknown brands and the main engine used Siemens frequency conversion technology, so as to ensure long-time and high-efficiency operation with low energy
consumption. Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC) was utilized to control each equipment, so that programs are controlled and operated automatically.
All commands could be sent and controlled through the touch-screen operation,
so the operation was simple and convenient. Moreover, there were emergency
stop and failure indication, so as to judge in advance and deal with in time when
meeting emergency. All low-voltage components were produced by Schneider.
According to the customer demands, it had real-time monitoring function on
mobile phones (Fig. 3.21).
