CONCLUSION
97
Combining the results of our work with existing studies on geological forcing factors (coastal
erosion, marine submersion, sea-level rise) will yield a vulnerability map of the Skikda
province. This map will serve as a decision-making tool at the local level for coastal
urbanization, human activities, and adaptation to climate change. It is our recommendation that
this work be organized around a comprehensive database for the Skikda province, enabling
regular updates of the vulnerability assessment for decision-making and coastal zone planning
purposes.
