digestive gland (winter and spring). However, moderate
(spring) and low (summer, autumn, and winter) concentrations were found in gonad.
In mussels of Algiers port, all organs were Pb loaded in
autumn and winter seasons compared with those in summer
and spring seasons. RST showed a great Pb content similar to
the gill and digestive gland in winter. For the remainder seasons, in general, the decrease order of Pb concentrations in
organs was gill ˃ digestive gland ˃ RST ˃ gonad.
