12.4 Dry Run: Rule Out Technical Issues
Hopefully you have the opportunity to do a dry run (without any audience) with the
audio-visual specialist prior to your actual presentation.
If you are offered that opportunity, go through your presentation in “presentation
mode”, to make sure that:
• The screen ratio is good
• Your slides get fully displayed, without distortion
• All your movies run perfectly
You can even take advantage of that last verification to make final touch-ups and
modifications to your final presentation file.
This will also allow you to familiarize yourself with the setting (podium, view of
the audience, remote control if any, etc.)
