The samples collected from glacial surface ST4 (Fig. 17) show broken edges of
the grain with circular depressions and intense crushing. Parallel disposition of two
sets of straight running cracks at nearly right angle to each other are seen in Fig. 17
(1b). Removal of the matter by wind action on the grain is evident from irregular
pits in Fig. 17 (1b, 1c and 2b). Multiple events of glacial crushing, overprinted,
recycled features, deep grooves and latter attrition are observed in Fig. 17 (3b).
Multiple fractured layers along with adhered particles, some pits on the crests of the
grains and chemical precipitation, crushing of edges are also displayed.
