Figure 15 (1a) from here shows a foreign, platy grain resting on the main grain.
The platy matter with fresh cleavage developed on the edges shows some encrustations on the surface, probably the result of chemical leaching. Figure 15 (1b) shows
the features more or less similar to the main grain in earlier picture except that its
surface looks flatter with horizontal cleavages. Intense mechanical breakage with
sharp edged deep breakage blocks is seen in Fig. 15 (2a and 2b). The sub parallel,
cleavages are produced due to glacial attrition under the ice thickness of >500 m
