glacier catchment, up to discharge site, is ~21.36 sq km out of which only ~3.26
sq km, i.e., 15.26% is glacierised. Thus, the discharge accounted for precipitation,
will not reach the discharge site at one go as the major part will first go in to the
ground water system, which is released slowly into the hydrological regime.
