panels show prominent blast-resistant performance. The outstanding mechanical properties of UHPCC, especially the existence of steel fibers hinders the
development of cracks and improves the energy absorbing capacity of UHPCC.
(3) By comparing with the experimental incident and reflected instantaneous overpressures, the effectiveness of CONWEP method on predicting blast loadings,
especially the applicability on predicting the reflected overpressure of blast
wave induced by the one-end-detonated cylindrical charge with the scaled
distance of 0.5 ~ 1.0 m/kg
1/3 is validated. It is also indicated that the charge
shape and point of detonation affect the distributions of blast wave overpressure, and the corresponding influential degree increase with decreasing
the scaled distance, which leads to a decrease in prediction accuracy of the
post-blast behavior of panels.
(4) Karagozian & Case concrete (K&C) model parameters for describing the
strength surface, EOS, damage evolution, and the strain rate effect of UHPCC
were comprehensively calibrated by the existing basic mechanical properties
test data, which are fully validated by comparing with the present test data,
e.g. dynamic deflection-time histories and damage distributions.
