In what follows, we study the dependencies q (w) reported in Fig. 7.22 for different types of the temperature field (types 4, 5 in Table 7.14) and the corresponding
boundary conditions of the simple-simple support for the intensity of the temperature
load T = 100
◦ C.
It has been found that for the type 4 temperature field, for k x = 12, . . . , 36, the
curvature parameter implies an increase in the critical load q cr . On the contrary, for
