objects in the wind tunnel with the scaled model, and then measuring the
size and distribution of the wind force on the model with the instrument.
The total number of wind tunnels in the world has reached more than
1,000. The largest low-speed wind tunnel is the national full-size facility
(NFSF) at NASA’s Ames Center. The large transonic wind tunnel with the
highest Reynolds number is the national transonic facility (NTF) of Langley
Center in the United States. It is a low-temperature wind tunnel with a
section size of 2.5 m × 2.5 m in the test section. Liquid nitrogen injection technology is used to decrease the gas temperature in the test section so
that the Reynolds number in the test section reaches or approaches the true
value of the aircraft. The development trend of the wind tunnel is to increase
the simulation capability of wind tunnel further and improve the flow field
