The upper basin of Cris , ul Alb River is best represented regarding its rock permeability. Practically, from its source to the exit from the mountain area, both on the
main course and on the right tributaries, the constituent rocks have high permeability
and favorability for underground drainage. A high rock permeability is also presented
in the basins of the right tributaries at the entrance of Gurahon¸ t Depression.
In the Cri¸ sul Repede basin, the collector’s corridor with the main left-hand
confluences of S˘ acuieu, Dr˘ agan and Iada Valley, plus the southern compartment of
Huedin Depression, are characterized by the presence of relatively high permeability
rocks.
The Cris , ul Negru basin as far as it belongs to the Apuseni Mountains, overlaps
surfaces with lesser rocks permeability. However, there are some areas with a high
underground drainage located in the upper periphery of Beius , Depression made of
consistent sedimentary deposits. Other areas include some right tributaries basins
on the upper course of the main collector, and a lower sedimentary area, situated
between the Bihor and P˘ adurea Craiului massifs.
