13.6 Recommendations
Romania, compared to Europe, does not face large-scale vegetation fires. But it is
necessary to prepare an adequate infrastructure in order to prevent and mitigate its
effects. Global climate change by emphasizing extreme phenomena and protecting
natural areas is the premise of these new approaches.
The implementation of these projects can be done gradually, especially within the
areas that are difficult to access. Staging development will offer the opportunity to
optimize the technical solutions implemented.
