Thus, the majority of the public refrain from using public urinal–toilets facility.
The main reasons ranked by the users for not willing to use public urinals–toilets,
which can also be considered as the points for improving the public sanitation facility
in order to increase its usability, so as to restrict the people from open defecation.
These are:
First: Unhygienic and dirty
Second: Stinky
Third: No water
Fourth: Lack of privacy
Fifth: Unsafe to use
From the analysis, it is clear that the first three main reasons for not using public
urinal–toilets facility are related to poor hygiene and sanitation, which render the
facility un-usable leading to open urination–defecation even in place with urinals–
toilets.

Compiled data’s results show more than 98% of the users were highly satisfied
with the Overall Performance of the ‘NEERFLUSH’, with reference to Improvement in Cleanliness, Hygiene and Odour problem in Urinals, after ‘NEERFLUSH’
installation.
