3.2 Presets
and Projects
The submission process is also divided into two steps, including
“Preset” and “Project” (Fig. 2).
1. Preset: This section describes the process of metadata registration. Users register the information related to the experimental
method, such as “species,” “fractionation method,” and
“digestion enzyme type.” This information is stored in the
jPOST repository database and can be reused at any point
of time.
2. Project: This section describes the purpose of submission of the
raw data files. Users enter the information related to the dataset
and then submit and upload the files from their respective
computer. Users can associate the files with the presets that
have been described above.
3.3 Registration
of Presets
The users can access the preset registration page according to the
following procedure.
1. Click the “Submit” button in the menu at the top of the page.
