A fourth parameter that has not been taken into account so far is
Q n . A protein contact network approach (see Chapter 2), performed
on a restricted but interesting group of homodimers, has demonstrated that Q n correlates with the size of the interface and with the
intersubunit interface strength, evaluated theoretically as the difference between the graph energy of the dimer and that of the two
isolated monomers [5]. Q n therefore represents a sort of dimeric
