comparable results despite their differing layer dimensions. The influence of moving
scatterers in the biotissue (like blood cells in the vessels) on the cross-sectional Monte
Carlo images were analyzed in [12] and [13]. The general suitability of these simulations models could be approved by experiments. Due to the modularised concept
of the implemented simulation tool dynamic simulation runs could be realised [11].
As a result, the skin can not only be simulated as a static scenario, but modelling of
vital functions like the heartbeat is possible.
